Yamaha is presenting two new models of portable digital pianos: P-225 and P-145.

Yamaha's P-Series digital pianos are loved by piano players around the world who want the comfortable feel of an acoustic piano in an instrument with a more manageable size and weight. The new P-225 and P-145 are taking over the legacy of the P-125 and P-45 respectively, and are now more portable than ever, including many new features which will take portable pianos to a whole new level.

Compared to their predecessors, the P-225 and P-145 feature a much shorter and thinner body design with a compact style. This model looks beautiful from any angle, and enhances any room. To achieve a smaller product chassis, Yamaha developed the new GHC (Graded Hammer Compact) keyboard (88 keys), which is built to uncompromising standards and offers the same weighted acoustic piano-like playing feel as the GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keys used in previous models in the P Series.

In addition, the P-225 features the sounds of Yamaha's flagship concert grand piano, the CFX, and this model uses Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite technology to replicate the expressive moment-by-moment tonal changes that occur in a real grand piano. By linking the P-225 or P-145 with Yamaha’s dedicated Smart Pianist digital piano app, you can access all of the piano's features while also adding new possibilities for the player.

Whether you are an advanced piano player, a student or an enthusiastic beginner with a desire to learn to play, the P-225 and P-145 are the perfect choice.

Availability: P-145 July 2023., P-225 August 2023.
